Bhopal, February 19: The budget session of the Madhya Pradesh Assembly is currently underway. On Thursday, Congress legislators protested against the government’s policies while holding thalis in their hands. They vocally criticized the state government during the demonstration. In response, BJP legislator Rameshwar Sharma remarked that the Congress is merely “cooking imaginary rice.”
Speaking to reporters, Sharma stated that Congress has run out of work to do. He accused them of making noise without any substantial issues to address, claiming they are misleading the public by creating a ruckus outside the assembly.
Sharma further asserted that Congress has failed to deliver justice to the people of India, farmers, women, and students. This failure is why the public is rejecting them. He emphasized that the people are aware of which party stands with them, leading to Congress’s empty thalis as they make noise with them.
Targeting Rahul Gandhi, Sharma noted that the Congress leader is unpopular among the public, questioning who would support a party led by someone like him. He added that those around Gandhi are also making noise with empty thalis. According to Sharma, Congress is distressed in Madhya Pradesh as the BJP continues to work for the public’s benefit.
He highlighted that the public favors Prime Minister Modi, and the double-engine government in Madhya Pradesh is consistently implementing initiatives for the people’s welfare. Citizens can now directly communicate their issues to the relevant authorities for resolution.
Sharma concluded by stating that previous governments ignored the public’s problems, which led to their own rejection. Now, Congress finds itself largely ignored.
