Congress hails development oriented budget 2022-23

Ranchi, Mar 3 : The Congress party on Thursday hailed the annual budget of the state tabled in the Assembly by Finance Minister Rameshwar Oraon claiming it to be development oriented. Jharkhand Congress president Rajesh Thakur said that the budget which has been prepared keeping in to centre the villages poor farmers youth and women will be a milestone for development. He said that the budget will be effective to realise the promises which have been made to the people by the Congress Party before the elections. Thakur said that in the budget well being of all has been accorded priority as to whether they are old people, housewife, students daughters, businessmen, traders and farmers all their issues have been addressed. He said that apart from providing better facilities to the common people the budget is also aimed at increasing employment opport ties and pushing up Industrial Development. Thakur expressed his gratitude towards Chief Minister Hemant Soren and Finance Minister Rameshwar Oraon for this budget. He said apart from ease of doing business the provision of ease of living shows the clear indication of the intentions of the state government. The Congress leader said that the government is already running many schemes and programmes keeping into mind the life and the livelihood of the people and the schemes announced in the budget would further accelerate those things. Thakur said that allocation of Rs 600 crore for paying the honorarium to the para teachers is a welcome step while allocation of funds has been increased in the sectors of health drinking water education and food distribution which is an indication of the working of state government. He said that Guruji Credit Card scheme is a welcome step which will help the students pursue higher education without worrying about the financial aspects while providing 100 ts of free power to poor and farmers is also a step worth appreciating. Meanwhile incharge for party affairs in Jharkhand Avinash Pandey has congratulate Chief Minister Hemant Soren and Finance Minister Rameshwar Oraon for the budget. He said that after coming back from the the pandemic this budget will be a milestone in realising the promises which have been made to the people. He said that during the pandemic Jharkhand had to face many challenges and due to unhelpful nature of the centre the state had to undergo social and economic obstacles in development. Pandey said that the Mahagathbandhan government under the leadership of Chief Minister Hemant Soren despite the odd circumstances has tried to move forward with sensitivity and calmness and this budget will prove very beneficial in bringing the economy back on the track. He said the promises which were made by the Congress Party and other allies to the people have been included in the budget provisions which is worth appreciating and that the budget caters to the well-being of all the sections of the society and will also help in bringing industrial development. Lauding the intentions of the state government he said that ‘Apki Sarkar Apke Dwar’ programme proved to be very effective in solving the problems of the people. AK KK
