Complete construction work of Ayush University by August next year: Yogi

Gorakhpur, April 8 : Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Friday directed the officials to expedite construction work of Mahayogi Guru Gorakhnath Ayush versity and directed that it should be completed by August 2023. During a physical review of the construction work of the versity, being set up at Pipari in Gorakhpur district, the CM directed that vice-chancellors residence should be completed within four months. Later during a meeting with the officials, he said that special attention should be paid on quality and timeline in construction of the first Ayush versity in the state. He directed the district magistrate that accountability should be fixed towards construction works of the versity. Yogi said that stern action should be taken against those responsible if the construction work is not completed in a time bound manner. He said that to ensure quality of the construction work TAC inquiry should be conducted. He said that the architecture of the versity should be in accordance with Indian culture. It may be noted that President Ram Nath Kovind laid the foundation stone of Mahayogi Guru Gorakhnath Ayush versity on August 28 last year. AB SHK2150
