Coal India’s arm installing 2 oxygen plants

Coal India’s Singrauli-based flagship arm — Northern Coalfields is installing two oxygen generating plants. Both the plants would be at its two hospitals in Madhya Pradesh and Uttar Pradesh. The development assumes significance in the wake of country facing shortage of life-saving gas amid surge in COVID-19 cases.

Coal India is the world’s largest coal mining company. It also produces non-coking coal and coking coal of various grades for diverse applications.
