Gorakhpur, May 17: During his visit to the Gorakhnath Temple, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath engaged with the public and dedicated time to the temple’s cow shelter on Sunday morning. He lovingly interacted with the cattle and fed them jaggery. Given the rising temperatures, he instructed the shelter workers to ensure proper care for the animals.
CM Yogi’s routine at the Gorakhnath Temple was traditional. He offered prayers to the revered Guru Gorakhnath and sought blessings at the memorial of his late mentor, Mahant Avedyanath. After touring the temple premises, he visited the cow shelter to feed the cattle.
Additionally, during a public interaction event held outside the Mahant Digvijaynath Smriti Bhawan, the Chief Minister addressed the concerns of around 150 individuals. He directed officials to ensure that justice is served without discrimination, that all eligible citizens benefit from welfare schemes, and that necessary medical care is provided to those in need. He also emphasized strict action against land mafia and bullies.
The Chief Minister’s office shared a post on the social media platform X, stating, “Under the leadership of CM Yogi Adityanath, the sensitive government is committed to the welfare of every section of society through democratic values and welfare schemes. During the ‘Janata Darshan’ program at the Gorakhnath Temple, the CM listened to the issues of people from various districts and provided necessary directives to officials for prompt resolution.”
