Mumbai, May 4: Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis celebrated the Bharatiya Janata Party’s (BJP) victories in West Bengal and Assam, as well as the NDA’s success in Puducherry, by enjoying jhalmuri with party leaders and workers. The election results prompted various reactions from leaders.
Deputy Chief Minister Eknath Shinde stated, “The BJP has won three out of five states. Our biggest victory was in Bengal.”
Meghna Bordikar expressed her joy over the election outcomes, stating that after years of challenges, West Bengal’s situation will improve, bringing better days for the people.
Mayor Ritu Tawde spoke of historic changes under Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s guidance. She claimed that voters in West Bengal chose change due to dissatisfaction with the previous government.
Tawde remarked, “History has been made, and we are very happy. Under PM Modi’s leadership, change has come to West Bengal. This is a historic moment for us. The people of West Bengal have been waiting for this day, and now that change has arrived, there is immense joy and enthusiasm among them.”
BJP MLC Chitra Wagh noted, “After the violence in West Bengal, the people have now supported PM Modi. There will be no more mere ‘khela’; instead, change is on the horizon.”
BJP MLC Praveen Darekar added, “West Bengal will see the saffron wave. Under PM Modi’s leadership, the nation is progressing, and the people of West Bengal have decided to follow that path towards development. Change is inevitable.”
BJP leader Ravindra Chavan credited the party’s success in West Bengal, Assam, and other regions to the long struggle of party workers and PM Modi’s development agenda.
