Ranchi, October 15 (Daily Kiran): The weather department has forecast partly cloudy skies over 14 districts of Jharkhand on Thursday and Friday.

According to the Meteorological Department, the districts likely to experience partial cloud cover include Ranchi, Ramgarh, Khunti, Hazaribagh, Bokaro, Gumla, Dhanbad, Koderma, and Lohardaga in central Jharkhand, along with Garhwa, Palamu, Chatra, and Latehar in the western part of the state.
The weather is expected to clear up on October 18. However, clouds may return across several districts on October 19 and 20. Despite this, conditions will remain dry, with no rainfall likely during the period.
The department also ruled out any major change in maximum or minimum temperatures over the next five days.
In the past 24 hours, Jharkhand’s highest temperature was recorded in Chaibasa at 34°C, while Latehar was the coolest at 17.3°C.
On Wednesday, Ranchi and nearby areas experienced clear skies. The morning remained mildly cold, followed by slightly harsh sunshine in the afternoon. Ranchi recorded a maximum temperature of 29.4°C, Jamshedpur 33.8°C, Daltonganj 31.6°C, Bokaro 32.1°C, and Chaibasa 34°C.
