Jaipur, August 21: Abhijit Dipke, leader of the Cockroach People’s Party (CJP), has accused BJP workers of mistreating CJP volunteers, including women, in Jaipur. He stated that the public will teach the BJP a lesson in the upcoming elections.
During an interview with a news agency, Dipke discussed a recent incident involving CJP spokesperson Ashutosh Ranka and volunteers who were allegedly attacked. He explained that Ranka was set to expose the conditions of a school that was running in a cattle shed. Upon arrival with his team, they faced a severe attack, including stone pelting and assaults on vehicles, with violence directed towards the women present.
“We have all seen videos where BJP goons are beating CJP volunteers in groups. What do they want? We only want the school to be fixed. Why is it so difficult for them to improve the school? If they had done their job, there would be no need for us to go there,” Dipke remarked.
He emphasized the importance of raising their voices against such actions, stating that the BJP does not want poor children to receive a proper education. “If they truly cared, they would be concerned about why children are studying in a cattle shed instead of a proper school. The BJP should focus on better education for children. Their bullying is coming to an end, and the public will teach them a lesson in the upcoming elections,” he added.
In response to a proposal by the Rajasthan government restricting external individuals from entering schools for video and photography, Dipke criticized the government. “Many wrong things are happening in government schools. Just yesterday, I saw people consuming drugs and alcohol outside a school. There is no notice preventing outsiders from entering when such activities occur. But when someone highlights the lack of water or teachers, the government suddenly has a problem. Why can’t we show that we want better schools?” he questioned.
Dipke also commented on the alleged attacks on Ashutosh Ranka and the volunteers. “I believe they are scared. Their lies have been exposed to the entire country. We have seen resignations and even children revealing their truths. They fear that the public has understood the BJP. The reality of the BJP is now clear to everyone. They think they can intimidate people into silence, but that will not happen. The country has awakened, and people are no longer afraid,” he asserted.
Regarding the MMRA case, Dipke mentioned that candidates had approached him, revealing discrepancies in exam scores. “Some candidates who previously scored poorly suddenly became toppers in the MMRA exam. Many of them are said to be children of officials. How can multiple toppers come from the same center? This indicates some foul play, and I will meet with the MMRA candidates again on Friday,” he stated.
On the changes to NCERT textbooks, Dipke questioned the qualifications of those responsible for writing the curriculum. “How can individuals who are uneducated themselves write NCERT textbooks or determine the syllabus? They have never studied the Constitution or even flown the national flag in their offices. How can they be trusted to set the educational standards?” he concluded.
