
Beijing, June 13: According to the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, China’s consumer textile industry has experienced a robust annual growth of 4.3% in value-added output during the first four months of this year. This growth accounts for 27% of the total value-added output across large-scale industries, with operational revenue reaching approximately 10.3 trillion yuan, marking a 2.7% increase compared to the same period last year.
Currently, the total variety of consumer textiles in China has reached 2.3 billion. The country leads globally in the production of over 100 categories, including household appliances, furniture, sports and cultural goods, and clothing. Additionally, there has been a steady increase in the supply of innovative products such as smart home devices, wearable technology, humanoid robots, and drones.
