Ayodhya, September 8 (Daily Kiran) : Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath visited Ayodhya on September 8, where he offered prayers at Hanuman Garhi and the Ram Lalla shrine. During his visit, Mahesh Bhagchandka, the new treasurer of the Ram Temple Trust, welcomed him and outlined the trust’s operations and management.
Bhagchandka noted that the new CEO of the Ram Temple has already taken charge and is preparing to relocate permanently to Ayodhya within the next five to seven days. The CEO has visited Ayodhya two to three times previously to familiarize himself with the temple’s operations. His recent visits include two in just four days, indicating a swift acclimatization to his new role.
The discussions during the meeting focused on enhancing temple operations and improving arrangements for devotees. The guidance provided by the Chief Minister has been communicated to the CEO, who is now working on implementing improvements based on that feedback.
Bhagchandka emphasized that all arrangements related to the convenience of devotees will be reviewed. Steps necessary to enhance the temple complex and visitation experience will be prioritized. This visit also served as a formal introduction for the new trustees. Upon the Chief Minister’s arrival, he was warmly greeted by the trustees, and detailed guidance was provided regarding the temple’s operations.
Mahant Raju Das, the priest at Hanuman Garhi, praised the Chief Minister’s visit, highlighting Ayodhya’s unique significance. He acknowledged Adityanath’s commitment to balancing development with responsibility towards religious sites. The Chief Minister’s engagement in medical, educational, and employment initiatives alongside religious activities has been commendable.
The Chief Minister discussed various topics with the new CEO, offering advice on managing temple operations more effectively to ensure the satisfaction of devotees.
Additionally, District Magistrate Shashank Tripathi reported that during the Chief Minister’s visit, an Anganwadi Workers‘ Honor Conference was held at the GIC Ground, attended by approximately 12,000 to 15,000 Anganwadi workers. The Chief Minister made several announcements during the event and expressed gratitude to the media for their support in organizing the successful conference.
