State-Level Independence Day Celebrations in Jodhpur; CM to Hoist National Flag

Jaipur/Jodhpur, August 14 (Kiran News): The 79th State-Level Independence Day celebrations will be held in Jodhpur with grandeur and enthusiasm. Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma will hoist the national flag at 9:05 am on Friday at the Barkatullah Stadium in Jodhpur district as part of the state-level function. On this occasion, he will also address the people of the state.

Earlier in the morning, Sharma will pay tribute to martyrs at the Shaheed Smarak near Jai Narain Vyas University. The Chief Minister will arrive in Jodhpur on Thursday afternoon, where he will participate in the ‘At Home’ programme at Mehrangarh Fort, a cultural event at Samrat Ashok Udyan, and the Tiranga Yatra, organised on the eve of Independence Day.

Jodhpur to Witness ‘Operation Sindoor’ Drone Show Today

As part of the state-level celebrations, special programmes will be held this evening. Jodhpur’s skies will witness history when the country’s first 550-drone show, depicting the bravery of ‘Operation Sindoor’, lights up the night over Mehrangarh Fort.

On the evening of August 14, the prestigious ‘At Home’ programme will be hosted at the historic Mehrangarh Fort. The distinguished gathering will include Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma, his cabinet colleagues, state legislators, senior officials, military dignitaries, and around 300 eminent guests from various fields.

Immediately after the ‘At Home’ event, at 7:30 pm, the ‘Operation Sindoor’ drone show will commence. This unprecedented display, visible across Jodhpur, will feature 550 advanced drones in synchronised flight. The show will be entirely based on the theme of Operation Sindoor, vividly portraying the valour of the Indian Army and showcasing advanced indigenously developed weapons under the ‘Make in India’ initiative.
