Dehradun, April 6: Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami has expressed his gratitude to the central government for approving the establishment of a Central School in Madan Negi, Tehri Garhwal district.
The Central School Organization has granted approval for the new school in Madan Negi, Tehri Garhwal. It is set to commence operations in the academic session of 2026-27 under the civil sector.
The Chief Minister stated that the opening of the Central School will provide quality education to children in Madan Negi and the surrounding areas. It will also strengthen the local educational infrastructure. He emphasized that both the central and state governments are committed to advancing education for the youth and shaping their futures.
On Monday, CM Pushkar Singh Dhami took to the social media platform X to express his heartfelt thanks to Prime Minister Narendra Modi for the approval of the Central School in Madan Negi, stating, “The establishment of the Central School will enable children in Madan Negi and nearby areas to receive quality and modern education, while also strengthening the local educational framework.”
Initially, the new Central School will operate classes from 1 to 5, with one section for each grade. The school will gradually expand in subsequent years based on demand and approval. The admission process will begin within 30 days of completing all necessary formalities.
It is noteworthy that this decision follows the central government’s prior approval to open 85 new Central Schools across the country. The school in Madan Negi, Tehri Garhwal is among those approved institutions.
