Mumbai, October 11 (Daily Kiran) : Bollywood legend Amitabh Bachchan is celebrating his 84th birthday today, October 11, 2026. On this special occasion, numerous stars from the film industry took to social media to extend their warm wishes and recognize his remarkable career and invaluable contributions to Indian cinema. Among them is renowned chef and television host Sanjeev Kapoor, who shared heartfelt birthday wishes for the iconic actor.
On the social media platform X, Kapoor wrote, “May your birthday be splendid and filled with good health, happiness, and beautiful moments. Your incredible contributions to Indian cinema will always be remembered with love and respect.”
Additionally, megastar Chiranjeevi also took the opportunity to congratulate Bachchan. He referred to him as his “most beloved guru” and praised his unwavering love for cinema and dedication to his craft.
Chiranjeevi posted on X, “Happy birthday to my dearest guru Amitabh! Your love for cinema and respect for your work have always inspired me. Beyond your significant achievements, your warmth and humility make you truly special.”
He also shared a photo of the two embracing warmly, which highlights the affection and mutual respect between the two legendary actors.
Chiranjeevi has long regarded Bachchan as a mentor. In 2019, he reached out to Bachchan for his role as Guru Gosai Venkanna in the historical film “Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy.” Initially hesitant to contact the Bollywood megastar directly, Chiranjeevi sought assistance from Jaya Bachchan to convey his message. However, Amitabh readily agreed to take on the role without hesitation.
What particularly touched Chiranjeevi was that Amitabh declined to accept any fee for his work in the film. He also turned down an offer for a private jet, opting instead to arrange his own travel and accommodations, demonstrating his affection and friendship towards Chiranjeevi by choosing to be part of the project.
