
Raipur, May 9: The Chhattisgarh Public Service Commission (CGPSC) has officially announced the recruitment of eligible candidates for 46 vacant positions of Assistant Engineer under various departments of the Chhattisgarh government. The notification was released on Friday, inviting applications for these roles.
Among the 46 positions available, there are 42 for Assistant Engineer (Civil) in the Public Works Department, 3 for Assistant Engineer (Electrical/Mechanical) in the same department, and 1 for Assistant Engineer (Civil) in the General Administration Department (Chief Technical Examiner/Vigilance).
The online application process will commence on May 13 at 12 PM, with the last date for submission set for June 11. Candidates wishing to apply can submit their registration forms on the official website once the application link is activated, up until the deadline.
For those who make errors while filling out their application forms, a free correction window will be available from 12 PM on June 12 to June 14. After this period, a paid correction window will be open from 12 PM on June 15 to June 17, requiring a fee of ₹500. Candidates should note that they will have only one opportunity to make online amendments to their application.
Applicants must hold a graduation degree in Civil, Electrical, or Mechanical Engineering from a recognized institution or university. Additionally, candidates must possess other specified qualifications and skills relevant to the field.
The minimum age for candidates is set at 21 years, while the maximum age is capped at 30 years, calculated as of January 1. Candidates from reserved categories will receive age relaxation as per regulations.
Selection of eligible candidates will be based on a written examination, interview/personality test, shortlisting, and document verification. Selected candidates will receive a monthly salary ranging from ₹56,100 to ₹1,77,500, along with additional benefits and allowances.
When applying, candidates must pay the application fee online according to their category. The fee is ₹400 for all other categories (UR) and applicants from outside Chhattisgarh, while it is ₹300 for Scheduled Caste/Scheduled Tribe/Other Backward Classes (non-creamy layer)/disabled persons who are local residents of Chhattisgarh.

Following this, they should register and log in. Candidates must fill in all required information in the form and upload the necessary documents in the correct size.
