Central Bank of India Extends Application Deadline for AGM Positions to June 7

New Delhi, May 30: The Central Bank of India (CBI) has announced an extension for candidates interested in applying for Assistant General Manager (AGM) positions. The bank has released an official notification for the recruitment of 15 AGM roles in areas such as risk management, finance and accounts, and credit.

Initially, the application process began on April 30, with a deadline set for May 17. This deadline was later extended to May 25 and has now been pushed further to June 7. Candidates who missed the previous deadlines now have another opportunity to apply through the official Central Bank of India portal. It is important to note that this is the final chance to submit applications for these positions.

For the roles in risk management and compliance, candidates must hold a full-time B.Sc. in statistics or economics, or a postgraduate diploma in finance, banking, or business management with a minimum of 55% marks from an AICTE/UGC recognized institution.

Candidates applying for the asset liability management position should possess a BE/B.Tech degree or a postgraduate diploma in business management, banking, or finance. For the digital risk and analytics role, a degree in mathematics/statistics or a full-time BE/B.Tech in data science/IT/computer science/software engineering is required.

For finance and accounts, candidates must have a graduation degree and proof of passing the final exam conducted by ICAI, along with registration as a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India. Those applying for the credit officer position should have a two-year full-time postgraduate degree in a relevant field from a recognized university or institution.

The minimum age for candidates is set at 33 years, while the maximum age is 45 years, calculated as of March 31. Relaxations in the upper age limit are applicable for candidates from reserved categories.

Selection will be based on an online examination, interview, and document verification. The monthly salary for selected candidates will range from ₹120,940 to ₹135,020. The online test and interviews are expected to take place in June.

Candidates must pay the application fee online, which is ₹850 for General/OBC/EWS applicants and ₹175 for SC/ST/PWD and female candidates.
