Shimla, May 4: Celebrations erupted at the Himachal Pradesh Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) headquarters in Shimla on Monday, following the party’s historic victories in West Bengal, Assam, and Puducherry. These wins are viewed as a decisive endorsement of development, nationalism, and good governance under Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership.
State BJP Vice President Vipin Parmar congratulated Prime Minister Modi and Union Home Minister Amit Shah, stating that the results reflect the public’s unwavering faith in the party’s governance model. He emphasized that this victory is not merely an electoral success but a clear testament to the trust the public has in the BJP’s ideology and Modi’s leadership.
A former cabinet minister noted that the outcomes in all three states signify a strong national sentiment in favor of development-oriented politics. Parmar remarked that the people of India have once again chosen good governance over appeasement and performance over mere promises.
Specifically addressing West Bengal, he mentioned that a significant political shift is imminent after 15 years of rule under Mamata Banerjee’s Trinamool Congress.
