Celebrating 12 Years of Progress Under Modis Leadership: Vijay Kumar Sinha Highlights Achievements

Patna, May 28: The atmosphere is celebratory within the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) as it marks 12 years of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership. On this occasion, Bihar Minister Vijay Kumar Sinha praised Modi’s leadership skills and urged the opposition to play a constructive role.

Speaking to reporters, Sinha stated, “The role of the opposition is to oppose, which is its duty. However, the truth is that the opposition now acknowledges that India is firmly moving towards self-reliance. The country is rapidly advancing on the path to becoming a developed nation.”

Sinha emphasized, “Over the past 12 years, social harmony has increased, and incidents of riots and unrest have decreased. Development has accelerated in every sector—air, land, and water. There has been unprecedented change in infrastructure, and skill development among the populace is underway. To realize the vision of a developed India, we must all unite.”

Expressing gratitude towards Prime Minister Modi, he said, “We sincerely thank PM Modi. He has sacrificed his own comfort to consider 1.4 billion Indians as his family and has worked tirelessly for the upliftment and welfare of the nation.”

Highlighting Bihar’s agricultural significance, Sinha noted, “Seventy-six percent of Bihar’s population relies on agriculture, and 94 percent of farmers are small and marginal. Our economy is primarily agriculture-based. The central government’s initiatives have created an environment to double farmers’ incomes. However, small farmers are facing challenges in making investments. The Bihar government is continuously working to address this issue.”

As the Revenue and Land Reforms Minister, he revealed that he has facilitated the creation of Farmer IDs for 4.7 million farmers, with a target of reaching 5 million. He concluded, “If farmers thrive, it means their families and all of Bihar will progress.”
