Bus Agent Shot in Dhanbad, Jharkhand: Serious Condition Reported

Dhanbad, February 24: In a shocking incident in Dhanbad, Jharkhand, a bus stand agent named Arun Singh was shot by assailants on Tuesday morning. The attack occurred near the DIG office in a high-profile area of the city, causing widespread panic.

According to reports, Arun Singh was passing by the DIG residence when unknown attackers opened fire on him. One bullet struck him in the back. After the shooting, the assailants fled the scene.

Local residents and police quickly rushed the seriously injured Arun Singh to Dhanbad Sadar Hospital. Following initial treatment, doctors referred him to Mission Hospital in Durgapur, West Bengal, for advanced care due to his critical condition. Medical professionals have indicated that his situation remains alarming. It is noteworthy that this marks the third life-threatening attack on Arun Singh.

In addition to being a bus stand agent, Arun Singh also works as a newspaper agent. He has been attacked twice before, with one incident resulting in a gunshot wound. The repeated targeting of a single individual raises suspicions of personal vendetta or a deeper conspiracy behind these attacks.

Upon receiving news of the incident, senior police officials arrived at the scene and initiated an investigation, cordoning off the area. The police are currently reviewing footage from nearby CCTV cameras to identify potential attackers. Authorities have stated that they are investigating the case from all angles and are committed to apprehending the culprits swiftly.
