Kolkata, May 7: BJP leader Nishith Pramanik and MP Khagen Murmu have responded to issues of infiltration and the leadership of the TMC. They also addressed the post-election violence and Mamata Banerjee’s refusal to resign.
In a conversation regarding infiltrators and border fencing, Pramanik stated, “As promised by Home Minister Amit Shah, we will first ensure complete fencing at the border and stop the infiltration that has been ongoing for 15 years.”
He remarked that, as previously mentioned, TMC leaders would flee after the election results, and that has indeed happened. “The TMC leaders who made grand speeches during the election have vanished after their defeat. The self-respect of the people of West Bengal has been hurt over the past 15 years, and the BJP will restore it,” he added.
Pramanik announced that, similar to Uttar Pradesh, bulldozer actions will now take place in West Bengal. He warned that anyone engaging in injustice or hooliganism in Bengal would face consequences akin to those in BJP-ruled states like Uttar Pradesh. “Any unconstitutional actions will be met with strict measures. The safety of women will be prioritized during the BJP’s tenure, along with plans to promote industry that will be implemented after the government is formed,” he stated.
MP Khagen Murmu expressed, “The people of West Bengal have placed their trust in the BJP. There was fear here before, but it has vanished with the BJP’s victory. The public has defeated Mamata Didi, yet she refuses to resign. It seems Mamata Didi has lost her mind. The BJP does not steal votes; the elections are over, so she should step down. What is the point of remaining in power now?”
He further stated, “Development is rapidly occurring in BJP-ruled states. Similarly, after the formation of a BJP government, the entire state, including North Bengal, will see development.”
