BSP MP seeks probe in UP paper leak

New Delhi, April 4 : Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) MP from Uttar Pradesh Kunwar Danish Ali on Monday urged the Centre to order an ‘special probe’ into the alleged English ‘paper leak’ of UP Secondary Education Board. Raising the matter during Zero Hour in Lok Sabha, the Amroha MP informed the House about the recent paper leak and alleged that the ruling BJP government in the state was not taking action against the culprits. “I want to draw the attention of the House over the recent UP Board English paper leak. In the last five years in UP, 18 paper leaks have occurred. However, no action has been initiated against the paper leak ‘mafia’,” Ali said, in a veiled attack on the Yogi Adityanath-led government in UP. He also accused the ruling dispensation of giving protection to paper leak ‘mafia’. “I urge the Government to initiate a special probe into the matter,” the BSP member said. Examination of UP Secondary Education Board was cancelled in 24 districts last week after an English question paper was leaked in Ballia. After the incident of paper leak surfaced, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath took cognizance of the incident and directed the state’s police Special Task Force (STF) to investigate the matter. DS ACL RNJ
