The incident occurred in Ajit Nagar, Gali Number 9, at house number 4332. A gas leak during cooking led to a sudden fire that rapidly spread, engulfing a room on the first floor where three people were trapped.

Upon receiving the alert, the Shahdara police beat staff promptly arrived at the scene. The team, consisting of ASI Kuldeep, HC Rahul, Constable Vipin, and Constable Sunny, was on regular patrol in the area. Without hesitation or waiting for additional assistance, they entered the burning house to commence rescue operations.

Displaying immense courage, the officers entered the blazing room and successfully evacuated all three individuals. Their caution and quick thinking prevented a potential disaster.

The rescued individuals were identified as Arshad Ali (34), his wife Arshana (28), and their one-year-old son, Armaan Ali, all residents of the house.

The trio was immediately transported to Jag Pravesh Chandra Hospital by auto-rickshaw, where they are currently receiving treatment. Doctors are closely monitoring their condition.
