Braga, April 10: The first leg of the UEFA Europa League quarterfinal between Braga and Real Betis ended in a 1-1 draw. The match, held at the Estadio Municipal de Braga, showcased impressive performances from both teams.
Braga started the match aggressively and quickly capitalized on their momentum. Diego Rodrigues delivered a corner kick that Florian Grillitsch expertly flicked into the net, giving Braga an early lead. This goal boosted the home team’s confidence, allowing them to control the game.
However, Real Betis gradually attempted to stage a comeback. In the 24th minute, Marc Bartra had a chance to equalize with a header, but the ball hit the post and went out.
