Puducherry, April 14 : Floral tributes were paid to Dr B R Ambedkar on his 132nd birth anniversary here on Thursday. Puducherry Lt Governor Tamilisai Soundararajan, chief minister N Rangasamy, his cabinet colleagues and speaker R Selvam among others garlanded the Ambedkar statue inside the Bharathi park in front of the legislative assembly on behalf of the government to mark the occasion. Leaders of different political parties and dalit orgaizations also garlanded the statue on the occasion. PAB GNK
