Box Office Report: ‘Siyara’ Dominates Third Monday, Beats Ajay Devgn’s ‘Son of Sardar 2’ and Siddhant’s ‘Dhadak 2’

Mumbai: Director Mohit Suri’s romantic musical drama Siyara continues to dominate the box office, even on its third Monday. Featuring fresh faces Ahaan Panday and Aneet Padda, the film has struck a chord with audiences, not just for its performances but also for its highly appreciated music.

On the third Monday alone, Siyara collected ₹2.50 crore, maintaining a strong grip at the box office. Since its release on 18 July, the film has performed exceptionally, collecting ₹172.75 crore in its first week and ₹107.75 crore in the second week. With this, the film’s total box office collection now stands at a staggering ₹302.25 crore.

Siyara Outshines ‘Dhadak 2’ and ‘Son of Sardar 2’

Ajay Devgn’s latest release Son of Sardar 2 and Siddhant Chaturvedi–Triptii Dimri’s Dhadak 2 have both struggled to find footing against Siyara’s success.

Dhadak 2, which released on 1 August, opened with ₹3.5 crore on Friday, followed by ₹3.75 crore on Saturday, ₹4.15 crore on Sunday, and just ₹1.40 crore on Monday. Its total four-day collection stands at a modest ₹12.80 crore.

Meanwhile, Ajay Devgn’s Son of Sardar 2 had a slightly better run but still fell short of expectations. The film earned ₹7.25 crore on Day 1, ₹8.25 crore on Day 2, ₹9.25 crore on Day 3, and ₹2.50 crore on Monday, bringing its four-day total to ₹27.25 crore.

All Eyes Now on War 2

With Siyara continuing its dream run, the industry’s attention is now shifting to the highly anticipated big-budget spy action film War 2, starring Hrithik Roshan and Jr NTR. The buzz around the film is massive, and trade analysts are keen to see whether War 2 can surpass the box office momentum and popularity currently enjoyed by Siyara.
