Bengaluru, April 5 : Karnataka Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai will meet on Jal Shakti Minister Ganendra Singh Shekhawat in Delhi on Tuesday to discuss river water disputes including Mekedatu and Mahadayi. “I will meet the on Water Resources minister later in the evening at New Delhi. I will take up administrative and technical issues related to river water projects like Mahadayi, Mekedatu, Upper Krishna, Upper Bhadra and others and seek clearances for the speedy implementation of these projects,” he said. Bommai is scheduled to meet on Finance Minister Nirmala Seetharaman on Wednesday and discuss GST-related issues. He will also meet Defence Minister Rajnath Singh to discuss a few issues. “Rajnath ji has agreed to affiliate Sangolli Rayanna School as Sainik School,” he said. Replying to a question on ministry expansion, the CM said, “I will meet BJP National President JP Nadda and on Home Minister Amit Shah if I get an appointment.” BDN RNJ
