Bengaluru, March 13 : Karnataka Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai on Sunday said there is no question of any BJP leader defecting to other parties. “I can tell you categorically that no one from our party will defect to other parties. It will be the other way round. Leaders of other parties will join BJP. Wait and watch,” he told reporters here. Bommai also ruled out the possibility of an early election in Karnataka. Replying to a question on cabinet expansion, he said he would discuss the matter once he gets a call from the party top boss on his visit to Delhi. He also informed about the BJP State Executive meet scheduled on March 30 and 31. The meeting will deliberate and decide on the proposed state tour of Party leaders among other issues, Bommai said. The process to bring the mortal remains of Karnataka student Naveen would be initiated immediately after the Ukraine war subsides, he said. BDN SHK2107
