Mumbai, September 20 (Daily Kiran) : Bollywood couple Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone joyfully announced the arrival of their second child on Saturday, welcoming another daughter into their family. The news sparked a flood of congratulatory messages from fans and fellow celebrities alike.
Aditya Dhar, the director of Ranveer’s hit film “Dhurandhar,” shared a heartfelt message, saying, “First came Lakshmi, now Saraswati! I am so happy for you both. A little angel has arrived in your family. May God bless her with all the love and happiness in the world.”
On September 19, the couple shared their joyous news on social media with a post featuring the tiny footprints of their newborn. The caption read, “Welcome baby girl… 19/9/2026… Dua, Deepika, Ranveer.”
Actor Vicky Kaushal extended his best wishes, commenting, “May God’s blessings be with you! Congratulations!” Alia Bhatt expressed her joy with heart emojis and symbols for protection against the evil eye, while Kriti Sanon wrote, “Wow!! Congratulations to both of you!!! (Red heart emoji). Dua has a little sister now!!! This is truly a blessing.”

Just a day before the delivery, Ranveer and Deepika were spotted at the Siddhivinayak Temple in Mumbai, seeking blessings. They had visited the same temple before the birth of their first daughter, Dua.
In April of this year, the couple announced their second pregnancy by posting a picture of Dua holding a positive pregnancy test kit. After dating for several years, Ranveer and Deepika tied the knot in November 2018 in a private yet extravagant ceremony at Lake Como in Italy. They welcomed their first daughter, Dua, on September 8, 2024.
