New Delhi, February 26: The national spokesperson of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), RP Singh, targeted the Congress party on Wednesday. He leveled serious allegations against Congress, claiming that they do not believe in democratic processes.
In a conversation, Singh stated that the Congress party‘s stance is clear: they lack faith in democracy, which is why they are threatening Prime Minister Narendra Modi. He referenced a statement made by Punjab Congress leader Brinder Singh Dhillon, who allegedly spoke in a derogatory and threatening manner against PM Modi. Singh described this behavior as contrary to Congress’s image of being a ‘shop of love,’ labeling it as ‘disgraceful and threatening’ politics.
The BJP spokesperson praised PM Modi’s recent visit to Israel, noting, “Modi is the first Prime Minister of India to address the Israeli Parliament. This is a testament to the strengthening of India-Israel relations and a results-oriented policy. Both countries are set to sign multiple agreements in agriculture, technology, defense, and other sectors. Our diplomacy is focused on delivering results that serve national interests.”
Regarding the central cabinet’s approval to rename Kerala to ‘Keralam,’ Singh remarked that this has been a long-standing demand of the people of Kerala. The resolution was passed unanimously in the state assembly, which led to the central government’s approval. Now, the state will be known as ‘Keralam.’ Singh emphasized that this change strengthens cultural and linguistic identity.
In a separate matter, concerning the Lashkar-e-Taiba’s Bangladesh module case in Delhi, the accused have been remanded to police custody for seven days. Congress MP Imran Masood has claimed that innocent individuals are being trapped under the guise of terrorism. Singh countered that the arrested Muslim youths are Bangladeshi nationals. He suggested that if Masood is advocating for Bangladeshis, Congress should reflect on this issue.
