BJPs Pankaj Chaudhary Denounces Alleged Chaos at Jantar Mantar, Predicts Collapse of Opposition Alliance

Lucknow, October 11 (Daily Kiran) : Pankaj Chaudhary, the Uttar Pradesh president of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and Minister of State for Finance, addressed media on Sunday, condemning attempts to create chaos at Jantar Mantar as a challenge to democracy. He asserted that such efforts have failed, marking a victory for democratic principles.

Chaudhary accused Samajwadi Party (SP) leader Akhilesh Yadav of tarnishing the image of Uttar Pradesh’s youth and the state itself. He emphasized that Yadav should focus on the positive contributions of the youth and farmers in the region instead of disparaging them. Speaking from the BJP’s state headquarters, Chaudhary characterized the unrest in Delhi as a conspiracy aimed at weakening the nation.

He expressed strong disapproval of Yadav’s remarks, labeling attempts to defame the youth of Uttar Pradesh as disgraceful. Chaudhary highlighted the accomplishments of the state’s youth and farmers, criticizing Yadav for choosing to highlight negative aspects instead.

Regarding Yadav’s challenge to Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath to contest elections in Ayodhya, Chaudhary noted that the Chief Minister accepted the challenge, stating that both he and Yadav would participate in the elections.

Chaudhary claimed that Yadav is anxious and predicted that no matter where he contests in Uttar Pradesh, he would face defeat. He dismissed the alliance between the Congress and Samajwadi Party as a forced collaboration, lacking both natural synergy and a coherent policy foundation.

He remarked that such forced alliances are prone to internal conflicts, suggesting that the entire opposition coalition, referred to as the ‘Indi alliance’, would fall apart as elections approach. Responding to recent disputes among Congress leaders and workers at the party’s state headquarters, Chaudhary advised the Congress to engage in self-reflection. He urged the party to consider why the public continues to distance itself from them.

Chaudhary criticized Congress for its persistent allegations against constitutional institutions, suggesting that the party should reflect on its past position and its current standing. He accused Congress of repeatedly losing elections while attempting to confuse the public rather than addressing the reasons behind their defeats.
