New Delhi, May 30: BJP MP Manan Kumar Mishra praised Union Home Minister Amit Shah during a conversation with IANS on Friday. He emphasized that Amit Shah fulfills every promise he makes. Following the eradication of Naxalism, efforts are now focused on strengthening border security.
Mishra stated, “Our Home Minister Amit Shah delivers on his commitments. He assured that Naxalism would be completely eradicated from the country, and by the promised date, it was indeed eliminated. Now, he is committed to ensuring our borders are fully secure. We will utilize the most advanced AI and modern technologies necessary for this.”
He added that fencing work has commenced in West Bengal, with landowners willingly cooperating, and the state government is performing admirably. Mishra noted that previously, illegal infiltration and cross-border movement had raised security concerns, but the government is actively working to dismantle this entire network. The goal is to secure the nation’s borders to prevent any illegal entrants or suspicious individuals from entering India.
Meanwhile, BJP MLA Bal Mukund Acharya from Jaipur, Rajasthan, also commended Amit Shah, stating that there has been a significant change in the country’s security landscape since 2014. He pointed out that incidents of infiltration and terrorism were more frequent in the past, but the situation has improved considerably. According to him, the central government has taken several crucial steps to enhance border security, leading to better conditions.
Acharya mentioned West Bengal, alleging that the situation there has changed significantly, with the government now taking strict action against illegal activities. He remarked that illegal infiltration from Bangladesh is being curtailed, and many individuals are being sent back. He also noted that the government’s firmness has led to improvements in border areas.
