BJPs Brij Lal Predicts No SP Government in 2027, Criticizes Akhilesh Yadav

Lucknow, September 4 (Daily Kiran) : BJP Member of Parliament Brij Lal has made a bold prediction regarding the upcoming 2027 Uttar Pradesh Assembly elections, asserting that the Samajwadi Party (SP) will not secure a government. Speaking in Lucknow, he credited the current administration under Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath for creating significant employment opportunities for the youth, particularly through substantial recruitment in the police department.

Brij Lal emphasized that during Yogi’s tenure, approximately 225,000 police officers have been hired, providing jobs to countless young people. He also pointed out the initiatives taken for contractual workers and the provision of free bus travel for women over 60 years old.

Taking aim at Akhilesh Yadav, Brij Lal accused him of being rattled and referenced past recruitment scams during Yadav’s administration. He dismissed the “PDA” (Backward, Dalit, and Minority) slogan as hollow, asserting that family-based politics will not succeed in the country. “I am also a Dalit and have faced oppression,” he stated, reinforcing his stance against dynastic politics.

On a related note, he praised West Bengal Chief Minister Suvendu Adhikari for his comments regarding “Vande Mataram,” noting that the movement originated in Bengal and was penned by Bankim Chandra Chattopadhyay. Brij Lal criticized the Congress and SP for not participating in discussions about national songs, arguing that every Indian should take pride in singing the national anthem, irrespective of caste or religion.

He also supported Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath’s remarks on Sanatan Dharma, referencing the historical significance of the Keshav Dev Temple in Mathura. Despite its destruction, he noted that faith remains strong, with festivals like Ram Navami and Krishna Janmashtami continuously celebrated. Under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Yogi Adityanath, efforts to preserve religious and cultural heritage in Uttar Pradesh are ongoing, he asserted, citing the Kashi Vishwanath Corridor and the Vrindavan-Bihari Ji Corridor as examples.

Brij Lal accused the opposition of politicizing Sanatan issues and claimed that Akhilesh Yadav engages in appeasement politics while avoiding discussions on these topics.

Regarding the appointment of the CEO for the Ram Temple, he deemed it a positive decision that would enhance temple management and improve facilities for devotees.

When asked about BSP leader Akash Anand, Brij Lal stated that it is an internal matter for the Bahujan Samaj Party. He acknowledged Mayawati’s experience as a former Chief Minister and emphasized that any decisions she makes are her prerogative, refraining from further comment.
