BJP Strengthens Media Framework Ahead of 2027 Elections in Uttar Pradesh

Lucknow, October 3 (Daily Kiran) : The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has reorganized its media framework in Uttar Pradesh, establishing new responsibilities from state to regional levels. On Saturday, state president Pankaj Chaudhary announced a list that includes 31 state spokespersons and 25 media panelists, along with designated media watch and regional media coordinators and co-coordinators.

Under the new arrangement, Himanshu Dubey and Deepak Baghel have been appointed as the state media co-coordinators. The party has entrusted 31 leaders with the role of state spokespersons. Notable names on this list include Dr. Sameer Singh, Kaushalendra Patel, Manish Shukla, Hari Bajpai, Jugul Kishore, Pankaj Tripathi, Lalji Nirmal, Anand Dubey, Anvish Tyagi, Alok Verma, Anila Singh, Sakshi Diwakar, Sanjay Chaudhary, Ashok Pandey, and Ankush Tripathi, among others.

The party has also announced a new team of state media panelists, which includes Amit Balmiki, Chandra Mohan Choubey, Aparna Dixit, and Dhananjay Shukla, among 25 others. The responsibility of media watch has been assigned to Divas Chaturvedi and Manoj Trivedi, who will oversee coverage of the party and related topics in the media, as well as coordinate relevant activities.

In addition to the state-level appointments, the BJP has formed media teams at the regional level. Six regions have designated media coordinators and co-coordinators: in the Western region, Gajendra Sharma has been appointed as the media coordinator, with Sanjay Maheshwari, Nimit Jaiswal, and Nitin Sharma as co-coordinators.

In the Braj region, Ankit Maheshwari will serve as the media coordinator, supported by Amit Gupta, Shashi Bhushan Gupta, Shyam Sundar Parashar, and Neeshit Sharma as co-coordinators. Anup Awasthi and Sanjay Singh will take on the roles of media coordinator and co-coordinator, respectively, in the Kanpur region.

In the Awadh region, Akash Mishra has been appointed as the media coordinator, with Amit Verma, Siddharth Tiwari, Himalaya Verma, and Deepak Tiwari as co-coordinators. Madhukar Chitransh will be the media coordinator in the Kashi region, supported by Santosh Solapurkar and Shailendra Mishra as co-coordinators. In the Gorakhpur region, Rahul Tiwari has been designated as the media coordinator, with Chandan Arya and Samrendra Vikram Singh as co-coordinators.
