BJP Spokesperson Critiques Rahul Gandhis Political Approach Amid Economic Progress Claims

BJP spokesperson Pradeep Bhandari criticizes Rahul Gandhi, highlighting economic growth and poverty reduction under PM Modis leadership.

New Delhi, October 30 (Daily Kiran) : BJP spokesperson Pradeep Bhandari has sharply criticized Congress MP Rahul Gandhi, emphasizing the significant economic development and poverty alleviation efforts under Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership. Bhandari pointed to a World Bank report stating that 460 million people have been lifted out of poverty in India, marking a substantial decline in extreme poverty.

In a recent interview, Bhandari noted that the World Bank’s findings extend beyond just the number of people above the poverty line; they also highlight the drastic reduction in extreme poverty. He remarked that such progress is unprecedented in the 21st century, showcasing India’s economic advancement and inclusive growth. Bhandari asserted that there is a growing global consensus that India is not only among the fastest-growing economies but is also achieving inclusive development. Under Modi, he claimed, the economy is progressing, and the benefits of this growth are reaching the general populace.

Bhandari explained that Modi’s continual public support stems from the tangible improvements in people’s lives due to his policies. When individuals rise above the poverty line and experience better living conditions, they recognize the government’s efforts. This connection has led to Modi receiving consistent backing from the public. The electorate has favored development-oriented politics in the elections of 2014, 2019, and 2024, placing their trust in Modi’s vision for growth. Bhandari expressed confidence that in 2029, the public will once again choose this developmental perspective.

In his attack on Rahul Gandhi, Bhandari accused the Congress leader of failing to acknowledge the reduction in poverty and the positive changes in the lives of the poor. He characterized Gandhi’s political style as rooted in negativity and chaos, suggesting that he resorts to protest politics. Bhandari emphasized that the Indian public desires development and has historically prioritized a growth agenda, rejecting protest-driven politics. He concluded that the country will continue to reject Gandhi’s alleged chaotic political approach.
