BJP Set to Win Both MLC Seats, Predicts Tsunami in 2027 Elections, Says Dayashankar Singh

Dayashankar Singh claims BJP will dominate in upcoming MLC elections and anticipates a major victory in the 2027 assembly elections.

Ballia, October 23 (Daily Kiran) : In Ballia, Uttar Pradesh, voting is underway for 11 seats in the Legislative Council. Amidst this, state minister Dayashankar Singh has made a bold prediction. He asserts that the BJP will secure both MLC seats and anticipates a “tsunami” of support in the 2027 assembly elections.

Singh emphasized the importance of the educated electorate in the teacher and graduate constituencies. He stated, “This intellectual class desires national development, peace, and the rule of law. They want a conducive educational environment for children to learn peacefully and contribute to the nation. Therefore, they will vote for the BJP.”

Targeting the Samajwadi Party (SP), Singh pointed out their continuous losses in previous elections, claiming, “The Samajwadi Party has been losing consistently. In 2014, 2017, 2019, and 2022, they faced defeat. A tsunami is coming in 2027.”

In contrast, SP Rajya Sabha member Ram Gopal Yadav dismissed any connection between the current MLC elections and the upcoming assembly polls.

Additionally, Singh commented on the recent meeting between Akhilesh Yadav and Azam Khan, suggesting that the SP is worried about losing votes from their specific community due to the emergence of Owaisi in Uttar Pradesh. He remarked, “They fear for their community’s votes, which is why they are hoping Azam Khan will help them cross the electoral hurdle.”

Singh also accused the Samajwadi Party of past atrocities during their tenure in power. He claimed, “The people of the state remember how the Samajwadi Party treated them when they were in charge.”
