New Delhi, June 25: Amid ongoing opposition attacks regarding the Ram Temple donation controversy, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has assured that a fair investigation is underway. Any individual found guilty will face strict consequences. Uttar Pradesh BJP President Pankaj Chaudhary emphasized that while it is the opposition’s role to raise questions, the state government has already taken serious steps by forming a Special Investigation Team (SIT) to probe the matter.
Chaudhary stated that once the investigation report is released, anyone found guilty will not be spared under any circumstances. He affirmed that the law will take its course, and actions will be based on factual evidence.
In response to Samajwadi Party President Akhilesh Yadav’s comments mentioning Champat Rai, Chaudhary remarked that naming individuals is the opposition’s job. He reiterated that any names that emerge during the investigation will lead to appropriate actions.
He also asserted that whether it is the Ram Temple donation issue or the recent fire incidents, the government bears no responsibility. The government’s duty is to conduct an investigation and ensure that the guilty are punished, which they are doing with utmost seriousness.
Regarding Akhilesh Yadav’s claims about the success of the PDA formula in the upcoming 2024 Lok Sabha elections, Chaudhary stated that the political gains achieved by misleading the public in 2024 will not be repeated. The citizens of the country and state are now more discerning, having understood the difference between right and wrong over the past two years.
When asked if Prime Minister Narendra Modi will be the face of the BJP in the 2027 Uttar Pradesh Assembly elections, Chaudhary responded that the BJP believes in collective leadership. While Prime Minister Modi is the party’s top leader, all BJP leaders will fight the elections together, and the strength of the organization is its greatest identity.
On the tragic incident involving the deaths of children in the Lucknow fire, he refused to engage in political maneuvering. Chaudhary expressed that it is an extremely sad and shocking event. The BJP stands with the affected families, and an investigation is ongoing. Anyone found guilty will not be spared at any cost.
