Chennai, April 5: The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has accelerated its election campaign in Tamil Nadu by launching the ‘Complaint Box’ platform. This initiative allows citizens to share their grievances and suggestions via a QR code. Union Minister Piyush Goyal stated that this marks the beginning of a significant campaign.
Piyush Goyal and BJP leader Tamilisai Soundararajan inaugurated the QR code initiative in Mylapore, where Tamilisai Soundararajan is contesting the elections.
Speaking to reporters, Goyal remarked, “This is a commendable initiative. On Monday, all candidates will file their nominations. There is tremendous enthusiasm at the grassroots level. The public will defeat the anti-Tamil and anti-India DMK and Congress. The NDA alliance will form the government this time, serving the people and fostering development.”
He reiterated, “The people of Tamil Nadu are very wise and will not make a mistake in the elections. They will vote for the NDA, and the NDA government will return to power in the state.”
Tamilisai Soundararajan expressed confidence in victory, stating, “We will win. Everyone in Tamil Nadu is talking about victory, and that victory is with us. We are very pleased. Today, we also held a meeting with NDA workers here. The NDA will definitely form the government in Tamil Nadu. The people will show DMK the exit and end its dynastic and corrupt politics.”
During the event, Tamilisai Soundararajan also welcomed the central government’s preparations to introduce the Women’s Reservation Amendment Bill, saying, “We welcome this. Congress is opposing the Women’s Reservation Amendment Bill without any valid reason.”
Earlier, at an event, Piyush Goyal emphasized, “The elections we are witnessing in Tamil Nadu are not just another election. This election will decide the fate of Tamil Nadu, the future of Tamils, and Tamil culture. The future of our children depends on the outcomes of this assembly election. The entire NDA alliance is working towards a single mission: a developed and prosperous Tamil Nadu that cares for the welfare of every child, youth, and individual living in this beautiful state.”
