New Delhi, September 29 (Daily Kiran) : A significant meeting is taking place at the BJP headquarters in New Delhi, chaired by the party’s national president, Nitin Naveen. Approximately 65 newly appointed state in-charges and co-in-charges are attending this gathering.
The agenda includes discussions on organizational expansion, upcoming challenges, and various pressing issues facing the nation. Prominent leaders such as national general secretary (organization) B.L. Santosh, Uttar Pradesh in-charge Vinod Tawde, and other senior figures like Smriti Irani and Biplab Deb are present.
Sources indicate that strategies for the upcoming assembly elections in Uttar Pradesh and Punjab may also be finalized during this meeting. The party is expected to review its organizational preparations and electoral activities in both states.
Additionally, the BJP will likely discuss the ‘Seva Sankalp Abhiyan,’ which marks Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s 25 years in public life. The meeting will assess ongoing activities related to this initiative and plan future organizational programs. State in-charges and co-in-charges will provide updates on the party’s status in their respective regions and discuss strategies to strengthen grassroots networks.
The meeting will also address upcoming organizational events and various national issues that have become focal points across the country.
On September 23, the BJP announced the appointment of in-charges and co-in-charges for all states and union territories. Notable appointments include national general secretary Smriti Irani overseeing Haryana and Chhattisgarh, while party vice president Ram Madhav has been assigned Tamil Nadu. Senior leader Anil Baluni has been appointed as the coordinator for the communication department, overseeing the national media cell and social media unit.
Recently appointed Ashish Usha Agarwal has been elevated to the role of coordinator for the national media department, previously held by Baluni. These appointments were announced by BJP president Nitin Naveen. Senior leader Vinay Sahasrabuddhe is now in charge of Delhi, with Jamyang Tsering Namgyal and Darshana Jardosh serving as co-in-charges for the national capital.
