BJP downgraded level of politics: Akhilesh

Lucknow, Mar 7 : Samajwadi Party (SP) president Akhilesh Yadav on Monday claimed that SP alliance will get more than 300 seats in just concluded seven phase Uttar Pradesh Assembly polls and said that Bharatiya Janata Party, which levelled false charge of dynastic politics, downgraded the level of the language and tarnished political modesty. In the statement issued here, Akhilesh has said, “In the current elections the elections voted for development, against inflation, unemployment and basic problems. The double engine government of BJP has disappointed the public. Youths were humiliated. There is a crisis of jobs and employment. BJP has cheated the youths and farmers. Injustice was met with the farmers during the BJP rule.” He said, “BJP downgraded the level of the politics and tarnished the political modesty. It levelled false accusations of dynasty politics. Problems of exodus and employment were not addressed. The ration and salt is from the public money. The poor should not be cheated.” The SP chief alleged that the BJP government hid its failure in the Ukraine issue. “Problems of inflation and unemployment have increased day by day. BJP spread lies from Delhi. Lies cannot work in democracy. BJP shirks from the basic issues and it did not implement its manifesto. Not a single promise has been fulfilled,” he said. He said that BJP destroyed everyone by taking ‘Sabka Saath’. “There are 11 lakh vacant posts at the administrative level in the state. It is with the industrialists. BJP does politics by dividing the society,” he said. Akhilesh said that SP always fulfills promises made with the public and it’s committed for the development. “SP introduced UP with expressway. 18 lakh laptops distributed during the SP government are 18 lakh success stories. Minimum support price will be implemented during the SP government. The people are cent per cent against BJP. SP alliance will cross the 300 seats mark in the polls,” he said. AB SHK2054
