BJP Claims Victory in West Bengal Elections Under Modis Leadership

Kolkata, May 4: Ahead of the vote counting for the West Bengal Assembly elections, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has asserted its claim to form a government with a clear majority in the state. BJP leader Agnimitra Paul stated that a new dawn is set to emerge in West Bengal under Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership.

Agnimitra Paul, the BJP candidate from Asansol South, expressed confidence that their party would secure a two-thirds majority, backed by the principles and blessings of the people of Bengal.

Speaking to the media before the counting began, Paul remarked, “With the blessings of the people of Bengal, the BJP is poised to form the government. A new dawn is coming to Bengal. For 50 years, other parties have pushed West Bengal backward. Now, under Prime Minister Modi’s leadership, a new beginning is on the horizon.”

He also noted, “The Election Commission has made excellent security arrangements for the counting day. Throughout the elections, the Commission has fulfilled its responsibilities effectively. We thank the Election Commission for their efforts.”

Dilip Ghosh, the BJP candidate from Kharagpur Sadar, also claimed victory in the elections. He stated, “The elections are merely a signal. The direction is clear, and we expect the results to exceed our expectations. The final outcomes will be even better than what was indicated in the pre-election surveys.”

Meanwhile, Swapan Das, the BJP candidate from the Shantipur constituency, confidently asserted, “What we envision will be 100 percent true, and victory is certain.”

In a critical remark, BJP MP Jyotirmay Singh Mahato targeted TMC MP Abhishek Banerjee, saying, “If a cockroach starts to think of itself as a bird, it is a grave mistake. Similarly, Abhishek Banerjee considers himself a big leader. After the results, I hope he doesn’t flee Bengal; that’s all I want to say.”
