BJP Can Restore Peace and Secure Borders in West Bengal: Dilip Ghosh

New Delhi, March 30: West Bengal BJP leader Dilip Ghosh sharply criticized the Trinamool Congress government on Sunday. He stated that the unrest in the state is affecting the entire nation and only the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) can bring peace to the region.

Speaking to reporters, Ghosh highlighted the chaos caused by individuals entering from Bangladesh, including criminals and terrorists. He emphasized the urgent need for administrative control and insisted that proper governance must be established in Bengal at all costs.

He stressed the necessity for strict governance, stating that law and order must be improved. According to Ghosh, there is no possibility of reform until the BJP comes to power. He asserted that only the BJP can ensure peace and secure the borders in the state.

Ghosh referred to the BJP’s strategic political campaign, asserting that the public will respond to the Trinamool’s accusations in the upcoming elections. He accused the ruling party of engaging in identity politics, asserting that Bengalis are respected worldwide. He criticized the practice of bringing in candidates from outside, such as from Bihar and Gujarat, which he believes reveals the true nature of their support.

Ghosh is contesting from the Kharagpur Sadar assembly constituency, a seat he won in the 2016 assembly elections.

As the significant assembly elections in West Bengal approach, the political battle between the BJP and Trinamool Congress is intensifying on multiple fronts.

On Saturday, Union Home Minister Amit Shah released a 39-page ‘charge sheet’ presented by the BJP, targeting the alleged misgovernance of the All India Trinamool Congress over the past 15 years ahead of the upcoming assembly elections.

This document outlines various concerns, including allegations of infiltration and systemic corruption, as well as issues described as institutional failures by the party. It also highlights economic and industrial decline, along with challenges in the healthcare sector during the Trinamool’s tenure as major areas of concern.
