Nawada, February 9: The Bihar government’s seventh initiative under the Seven Resolves-3, titled “Respect for All – Simplifying Life,” aims to alleviate the daily challenges faced by citizens. The goal is to make life simpler, smoother, and more dignified for all residents of the state. To achieve this, a system of public hearings has been established in all government offices across the district, ensuring that citizens do not face any inconvenience while dealing with government-related tasks.
Following the directives of District Magistrate Ravi Prakash, public hearings were organized at various levels, including village councils, police stations, and district offices. During these sessions, citizens’ issues were taken seriously, and necessary actions were initiated for prompt and effective resolution.
The public hearing at the district level was chaired by District Magistrate Ravi Prakash. A total of 16 complaints were registered from residents of different areas. Many issues were resolved on the spot by the District Magistrate, while others were forwarded to the relevant departmental officials for further investigation and action.
Among the complaints addressed were issues related to land disputes, illegal land occupation, and requests for land allocation for government buildings. Specific cases included a complaint from Babita Devi, the head of the Mirzapur village council, regarding land for a government building; a land dispute raised by Bachhi Devi from Sitamarhi; and a complaint from Karu Yadav about illegal occupation in Ektaara. Additionally, Shankar Chaudhary and Akshay Kumar raised concerns regarding land-related issues.
The District Magistrate instructed all officials to ensure timely, transparent, and rule-based resolutions for all matters.
In line with this initiative, public hearings were also conducted at various government offices across the district, including those in the Nawada Sadar and Rajouli subdivisions, providing citizens with an accessible platform to voice their concerns.
