
Patna, June 18: The Bihar Police recruitment examination, organized by the Central Selection Board of Constables (CSBC), took place peacefully across various districts, including Patna, on Wednesday. The exams for the positions of prohibition constable, class IV employee, and mobile squad constable were conducted in two shifts without any disturbances.
Both shifts were held at designated centers throughout the state, ensuring a fair and orderly environment. The first shift ran from 10 AM to 12 PM, while the second shift took place from 3 PM to 5 PM.
In the first shift, out of 9,312 candidates, 4,303 attended, while 5,009 were absent. In the second shift, 4,310 candidates participated, with 5,002 absent.
To facilitate the smooth conduct of the examination, a sufficient number of magistrates, police officers, and security personnel were deployed at all centers. Proper arrangements for security, law and order, and monitoring were ensured. Senior officials continuously inspected various centers to oversee the examination process and prevent any irregularities.
This recruitment exam aims to fill a total of 4,236 positions across different departments. The examination was conducted in two phases from June 14 to June 17, and it has now successfully concluded. Candidates who appeared for the exam are eagerly awaiting the results.
