Bihar Police Capture Notorious Criminal Tinku Yadav in Shootout

New Delhi, April 26: In a significant operation, Bihar police have intensified their efforts to combat crime. During a shootout in the Roh police station area of Nawada district, wanted criminal Tinku Yadav was injured by gunfire and subsequently arrested. A reward of ₹50,000 had been placed on his head.

A police officer reported that early Sunday morning, the Roh police station received a tip-off about Tinku Yadav planning to execute a major criminal act in Kosh village. Acting on this information, senior police officials directed the Roh police to proceed to the village. Additional police units were also summoned for support.

As the police approached Kosh village, two young men on motorcycles noticed the police vehicle and attempted to flee. When the police tried to apprehend them, one of the motorcycle riders opened fire. In self-defense, the police returned fire, hitting the assailant in the left leg. Taking advantage of the chaos, the second rider managed to escape, while the injured criminal was captured.

Upon questioning, the arrested individual identified himself as Tinku Yadav, a resident of Nawadih in Jamui. The police confirmed that he was immediately taken to the hospital for treatment. Tinku Yadav is accused of murdering Ashok Mistry in the Roh police station area by slitting his throat and subsequently burning the body.

The police had been conducting ongoing raids to apprehend him, and a reward of ₹50,000 had been announced for information leading to his capture. Tinku Yadav also has multiple cases registered against him in various police stations across Jamui district.
