Bhagalpur, October 20 (Daily Kiran) : Bihar’s Education Minister, Mithilesh Tiwari, made a heartfelt appeal to the youth during the Dussehra festival, urging them to rid themselves of vices and addiction. He called on young people to adopt the ideals of Swami Vivekananda and take responsibility for placing India on the global map. Tiwari emphasized the importance of developing technical expertise in the era of artificial intelligence and robotics, positioning Bihar as a leader in knowledge and innovation.

He stated that the burning of Ravana on Dussehra symbolizes the end of all evils and injustices. With this sentiment, he encouraged the youth to eradicate their internal vices and habits of substance abuse. “When we burn Ravana, we also eliminate every evil and injustice,” he noted. The minister urged young people to awaken their inner Swami Vivekananda and commit to eliminating societal evils.

Tiwari highlighted that the youth represent a priceless heritage for the nation. He expressed hope that they would follow Vivekananda’s principles and help elevate India on the world stage. He described Dussehra as an opportunity for the youth to renounce their vices and embrace goodness.

In response to Mohan Bhagwat’s remarks on artificial intelligence, Tiwari acknowledged the significant research in AI and robotics. He pointed out that while these technologies can simplify many tasks, their development and operation rely on human expertise. “Regardless of how advanced technology becomes, it is crucial for the individuals behind it to be competent and skilled,” he added. The minister stressed the need for human resources to be empowered alongside technological advancements.

He urged the youth not to limit themselves to merely using technology in the age of AI but to also gain expertise in it. This will lead to better utilization of technology.

Reflecting on Bihar’s potential in knowledge and technology, Tiwari reaffirmed that the state has always been a land of learning and will strengthen this identity once again. He expressed confidence that Bihar will play a guiding role for the world in the future.
