Bihar Chief Minister Offers Prayers at Baba Harihar Nath Temple for States Prosperity

Patna, April 17: Bihar Chief Minister Samrat Chaudhary performed rituals at the Baba Harihar Nath Temple in Sonpur, wishing for the state’s happiness, peace, and prosperity.

During the ceremony, the Chief Minister was accompanied by his wife, Mamta Chaudhary, and other family members. The Chief Minister’s office provided this information on Friday.

Upon arrival at the temple, the Chief Minister received a guard of honor. Local representatives and temple committee organizers welcomed him with traditional garments and floral bouquets. Along the way from Patna to Sonpur, party workers greeted him enthusiastically, chanting slogans in his favor.

Notable attendees included MLAs Krishna Kumar Mantu, Janak Singh, Rajesh Singh, and Chhoti Kumari, along with other representatives. Manish Kumar, the Commissioner of the Saran Division, DIG of Police Nilesh Kumar, District Magistrate Vaibhav Srivastava, Senior Superintendent of Police Vineet Kumar, and other dignitaries were also present.

Later, Chief Minister Samrat Chaudhary shared a photo on the social media platform ‘X,’ expressing his gratitude for the opportunity to visit the revered Baba Harihar Nath Temple with his family.

In his post, he noted that the ancient Baba Harihar Nath Shivling, located at the confluence of the Ganges and Gandak rivers in Sonpur, is unique as it houses both Shiva (Har) and Vishnu (Hari) in its structure. He wished for the continuous blessings of Baba Harihar Nath upon all residents of the state. Har-Har Mahadev.
