New Delhi, March 19: Bihar BJP leaders have come to the defense of party MP Kangana Ranaut while sharply criticizing Congress MP Rahul Gandhi. They described Gandhi’s approach to politics as immature and careless, stating that women feel uncomfortable under his leadership.
Bihar BJP President Sanjay Sarawagi commented, “Rahul Gandhi’s statements, whether inside or outside Parliament, lack seriousness. Congress is the main opposition party, and as its leader, he fails to convey gravity in his words. His behavior does not reflect that of a leader of the opposition.”
He pointed out that amidst ongoing conflicts in the Middle East involving multiple nations, Gandhi’s statements do not align with national interests. He accused Gandhi of opposing the BJP to the extent of opposing the country itself. His reckless remarks and conduct are detrimental to national interests, leading to chaos within Congress during the Rajya Sabha elections and in state elections in Assam and elsewhere. Reports indicated cross-voting among Congress legislators during the Rajya Sabha elections, with some members absent.
Sanjay Sarawagi further stated that Congress and Rahul Gandhi are unable to manage their leaders and legislators, attributing this to Gandhi’s own conduct.
Minister Dilip Kumar Jaiswal added, “It has been said that Rahul Gandhi is still not mature. His political approach is considered immature and careless. This is why many senior leaders and women in Congress feel uncomfortable under his leadership.”
He emphasized that Rahul Gandhi is gradually diminishing the foundation of his own party.
Previously, BJP MP Kangana Ranaut had raised questions regarding Rahul Gandhi’s behavior in the Lok Sabha. She remarked, “We women often feel uncomfortable because he approaches us in a manner akin to a ‘tapori,’ making inappropriate comments like ‘you do this, you do that.’ Even during interviews, he interrupts with shooting calls.”
