Patna, March 25 : Bihar Assembly was adjourned twice during pre-lunch sitting on Friday following pandemonium created by the opposition over demands of the caste-based census. Speaker Vijay Kumar Sinha took up the starred question proceedings after the short noticed questions had been completed after which members of Rashtriya Janata Dal and CPI-ML requested the speaker to take up the short noticed question of opposition leader Tejaswi Prasad Yadav regarding the caste-based census. The speaker did not consider the demands of the opposition members as the period fixed for the short notice question was over following which the opposition creating noisy scenes trooped to the well and shouted slogans against the government. The speaker requested the members to resume their seats and let the question our proceeding continue however the members continue to shout slogans from the well in favour of caste-based census. Later the speaker adjourned the house from 11:36 hours till 12 hours. When the house reassembled at 12 hours, the opposition members were again on their toes in support of their demands. The opposition members again trooped to the well and created noise. Despite repeated requests for the members to return to their seats for taking up the enlisted business of the house, the members refused to move, so the speaker adjourned the house for the second time at 12.09 hours till lunch.
