Mumbai, April 6: Popular Bhojpuri actress Anjana Singh is set to delight her fans with the family drama film ‘Chatori Bahu-2’. On Monday, the makers announced the release of the film’s trailer.
The official poster was shared on the film’s Instagram account, showcasing Anjana in a traditional bahu avatar. She is seen holding kitchen utensils, including a spoon, rolling pin, plate, and other household items. This look offers a glimpse into the film’s narrative, which explores the sweetness and challenges of family life and relationships.
In their post, the makers wrote, “The trailer for Bhojpuri film ‘Chatori Bahu-2’ will be released on Saturday, April 11, at 8 AM exclusively on the B4U Bhojpuri YouTube channel.”
Directed by Ishtiaq Sheikh Bunty, the film is produced by Sandeep Singh, with the screenplay penned by Arvind Tiwari and music composed by Om Jha. Further details about the film have yet to be disclosed by the makers.
This family drama promises to deliver a complete package of domestic relationships, emotions, and entertainment for Bhojpuri audiences. It serves as a sequel to the popular 2024 release ‘Chatori Bahu’, where Smriti Sinha played the titular role. The cast also includes Sanjana Pandey, Kiran Yadav, Akash Gaharwal, Vinod Mishra, Kanchan Mishra, Nisha Singh, Sonia Mishra, Ritu Pandey, Vidya Singh, Rakesh Babu, Santosh Shrivastav, Vandana Dubey, and Prashant Singh.
The film is produced by Sandeep Singh, Nilabh Tiwari, and Anjani Tiwari, with Ishtiaq Sheikh at the helm. Currently, Anjana is busy shooting for the film ‘Lady Boxer’ in Azamgarh.
The screenplay for this film is written by Satyendra Singh, with Ravi Tiwari serving as the chief assistant director. Sandeep Singh and Atharv Singh are the producers, and Anjana will play the lead role.
