Bhilwara Residents Praise Rajasthans New Budget Proposal

Bhilwara, February 12: In a significant move, Rajasthan’s Finance Minister, Diya Kumari, presented the 2026-27 budget in the state assembly on Wednesday. The government claims this budget will aid in the development of Rajasthan. Residents of Bhilwara expressed heartfelt gratitude, stating that the budget is commendable.

A local businessman remarked that the budget introduced by Finance Minister Diya Kumari is impressive. He noted that it sets goals aligned with the vision for 2047, marking a historic decision. The approval of an elevated road, much needed in Bhilwara, was particularly appreciated.

A student highlighted essential aspects of the budget, including the proposal to establish a new testing agency in Rajasthan, comparable to the National Testing Agency (NTA).

Another young woman praised the budget, emphasizing its focus on employment. The government has promised to create 100,000 new government jobs, significantly benefiting public sector employees. Additionally, employees may receive loans at lower costs, promoting mental health and helping alleviate depression and stress.

Another student commended the initiatives for students, such as the e-voucher system that allows funds to be transferred for purchasing laptops or other study materials. Furthermore, a ‘Dream Program’ has been launched for college students, providing career guidance.

A different resident pointed out a crucial taxation announcement in the budget, noting that all cases related to the Rajasthan State GST Tribunal will be handled digitally, as proposed by Diya Kumari.
