Ghaziabad, May 22: The Beyond Reach Premier League (BRPL) trials took place on May 20 and 21 at Trident Cricket Academy, near High-Tech World School in Ghaziabad. Thousands of cricketers from the Delhi-NCR region participated in this event, showcasing immense enthusiasm throughout the trials.
Through these trials, BRPL continued its mission to identify and nurture tennis-ball cricket talent at the grassroots level.
Former Indian wicketkeeper and BRPL League Commissioner, Kiran More, oversaw the trials, closely monitoring the performance of the participating players during the selection process.
Players were evaluated on various skill metrics, including batting, bowling, fielding, fitness, temperament, and match awareness. The primary focus of BRPL was to identify promising talents capable of excelling in a professionally organized tennis-ball cricket environment.
After the successful completion of the trials, Sushil Sharma, co-founder and CEO of the Beyond Reach Premier League, stated, “The feedback we received during the Delhi trials was truly overwhelming. It was inspiring to witness the passion, energy, and dedication of players coming from different parts of Delhi-NCR and beyond. Through BRPL, we aim to create a similar cricket ecosystem.”
Kiran More expressed his satisfaction with the trials, saying, “I was delighted to see such tremendous participation and enthusiasm among players during the BRPL Delhi trials. There is a lot of talent at the grassroots level. Platforms like BRPL can play a crucial role in providing these players with the right direction, experience, and confidence. Many players displayed remarkable skills and a strong desire to perform.”
The Beyond Reach Premier League was initiated with the vision of transforming tennis-ball cricket into a professionally managed sports ecosystem. This involves organized tournaments, competitive experiences, digital identity, and professional management.
